The OD x Wax collab happened in the most organic of ways. A chance meeting, and a realisation of shared was all that was needed to sow those initial seeds.

Wax London are responsible for some of the freshest overshirts out there in the Whiting range, the perfect Summer dress-up or dress down piece that will look better still with a paid of Oscar Deen Sunnies to complement.

Speaking about the collaboration, Tom Holmes, Wax London co-founder elaborated, “London is in our DNA and the synergy between the brands in that perspective was the starting point of the collaboration between the brands. We are really happy with the iterations we have developed on the back of Oscar Deen’s timeless shapes”

After discussions, both brands settled on treating customers to a choice between the Nelson and the Morris. Or both for the dedicated..As fans of Oscar Deen should know, each frame carries a story.

The Nelson is our re-working of a 1950s military issue frame, brought up to modern standards and with a distinct and ownable style.

The Morris was originally a ‘his and hers’ style safety frame, discovered on our adventures which we tweaked and updated to bring out that modern character and understated elegance.

Both pairs have now been updated with Wax x Oscar Deen branding. The Nelson is available in deep brushed charcoal, offsetting gold detailing perfectly for a truly premium look. The Morris is available in truffle, the perfect complement to any Summer style.

As always, only premium quality materials and finishing were expected. Think Mazzucchelli acetate, CR39 lenses with Cat 3 UV protection and fine detailing. Plus durable artisan leather cases to keep your shades nice and safe.
