Panda - Umber

£135.00
Color: Umber Acetate- Moss Green

Classic round sunglasses with a twist of rebellion.

All Oscar Deen  frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. They're Italian and have been top of the game since 1849. While our lenses are made from organic plastic. A combination of light-weight and optical clarity

We weren’t about to spend all this time creating bespoke frames to then dash them in some off the shelf case.

The OD case is made in collaboration with London based leather artisan and mate, Otis Ingrams.

Each one is hand made from 2 pieces of recycled composite leather, 4 brass rivets and one brass stud.

Rediscover:
Perfectly circular. Decidedly 1920s. First glimpsed in deep red acetate - a frame that didn’t just catch eyes, it held them.

Revive:
At one of our early parties, murmurs of a shadowy collector - “Mr. E” - circled the room. We chased the myth to Milan. Turns out, it was all true.

Reframe: We kept the iconic roundness. Then lifted the brow for now - sharper, stronger, unmistakably OD.

Ultra-rounded and unapologetically bold, this silhouette first turned heads in the 1920s - originally crafted in deep red acetate, worn by those who knew how to own a room. It was made to be seen. Striking then, just as striking now - whatever colour you choose.

We first heard of a mysterious collector known only as ‘Mr. E’ at our 2016 launch party. A name, an address, and a whisper of something rare. We followed the trail to Milan - and the legends held up. His archive was real. How vast? That’s a story for another time.

We kept the roundness intact, but refined the front - chamfered the face, lifted the brow. A modern evolution of a classic form. Still round. Just louder.
