All Oscar Deen  frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. They're Italian and have been top of the game since 1849. While our lenses are made from organic plastic. A combination of light-weight and optical clarity

We weren’t about to spend all this time creating bespoke frames to then dash them in some off the shelf case. 

The OD case is made in collaboration with London based leather artisan and mate, Otis Ingrams.

Each one is hand made from 2 pieces of recycled composite leather, 4 brass rivets and one brass stud.

Ultra rounded symmetry with the boldness of 1920s. Originally found in deep red acetate. These frames proclaimed, “yes, I was looking at you.”

At an early OD party, whispers of a collector named “Mr. E” reached us. In Milan, we found proof of the legends.

Reframe
We preserved the roundness but enhanced the front face, making room for a contemporary brow.

We first heard of a collector called 'Mr. E' at our launch party in 2016. When we popped to Milan with just a name and an address, we discovered the legends were true. How vast was Mr E’s collection? That’s a story for another time.

We kept the roundness intact but sharpened the front face and added a bolder brow for a modern twist that demands attention."


We left the roundness untouched. Instead, we chamfered and emboldened the front face, creating space for a contemporary brow.
